As for the port of Ortona, we have financed the works, now we are waiting for the Municipality to proceed with the dredging, the strengthening of the docks and the railway connection. The president Adsp Garofalo underlined how “the port infrastructures must be at the service of the territory. The common challenge must be to make good use of the resources and funds we have available by networking all the stakeholders and the current development opportunities, including those of the Special Economic Zones. The Port System Authority’s task is to support the characteristics and aspirations of each individual port in an overall strategic vision. This is the spirit with which I will face my mandate”.
